Having been to Sicily once before, it was such a treat to head back last September to photograph Teresa & Daniel’s wedding at Commenda di San Calogero. What a brilliant wedding and what a magical way to celebrate, in a place that sits nestled in orange groves, surrounded by sea and sunshine.
I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was to whittle down the selection of moments for this blog post. It was such a joyful occasion and Teresa & Daniel had put so much heart and soul into it – from Teresa’s incredible veil, to the hand dyed shibori scarves for all the female guests, the picnic reception, and the fact that the whole thing was catered spectacularly by their talented foodie friends.
Thank you so much to Caro Hutchings for seconding on this one and a BIG THANK YOU to Teresa & Daniel for having us along. You guys are awesome xx
Ellie - Looks like an amazingly fun day, and what a location. That shot of Teresa’s dress in the wind was amazing.February 23, 2015 – 11:15 am
Hannah Webster - Picnic! Puppies! Joy! Sunshine! Lights! Oh my gosh. I love the simple elegance of the dress (blowing in the wind – oh my word). I love the happiness exuding from every shot. I love the setting so so much. This really does look like the most amazing (FUN) wedding. Wow :)February 23, 2015 – 11:27 am
